Conference on Business opportunities in Kenya

ROME: The Vice President of Kenya, H.E William Ruto, will be the flagship guest of the Conference dedicated to the numerous business opportunities that Kenya offers for Italian companies to be held next Monday 3 December starting at 14:00 at the headquarters of the Italian Geographic Society in Rome. Vice President Ruto – who in recent days has presented a very ambitious economic recovery plan (The Third Medium Plan) that provides for the creation of 6.5 million jobs by 2022 – will be on an official visit to Italy.

The Conference taking place in Rome on Monday 3 December, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, is organized by the Italian-Kenyan Trade Association (CDCIK) in collaboration with Africa e Affari, Confindustria Assafrica and Mediterraneo, the Center for Relations with Africa (CRA) and the Italian Geographic Society (SGI). On the morning of 3 December, Vice President William Ruto will meet the Deputy Chairman of the Council, Luigi Di Maio, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moavero Milanesi. In the afternoon, however, during the conference the Vice President will  illustrate the pillars of the new development policy put in place by the government and the new business opportunities that it opens, starting from Infrastructures, Agribusiness, Housing, Industry and Health.
